Originally from London in the UK, Oscar is a freelance travel and landscape photographer living in Shanghai, China. He is the author of SnappGuides Shanghai, a mobile guide to photographing his adopted home city, and three times finalist to the Travel Photographer of the Year competition.

Oscar about his work " Since both my parents worked as professional photographers, I grew up surrounded by photography. But it wasn't really until I became hooked on travelling that I started to take the pursuit seriously myself. Taking pictures started as a means of capturing memories from trips, but gradually became the focus. It provided a new way of looking at the world and a prism through which to both explore new places and appreciate more familiar ones. I have lived in Asia for the best part of a decade, mostly in China, with its extremes of natural beauty and urban excess, which provides a never ending source of photographic inspiration."
